Carol Taylor

Born and raised in southern California, I have also lived in mountain resort towns in Idaho, Montana and Colorado. I love the outdoors and nature. I began painting with watercolors in 2001, and have added acrylic and collage to my paintings since then. My work is recognized by its bright colors and loosely flowing style. I also enjoy painting "Plein Air". I wake up each day, take a walk, commune with nature, and am directed in this way as to what the content of my painting will be. I work at continually growing as a watermedia artist, and find this an excellent medium for me in terms of personal expression.
