Acrylic and multimedia are my mediums. As an explorer of concepts and reveling in the discovery of new mediums and techniques to create works of abstraction, realism and impressionism, I definitely am not ready to settle down to a personal "style".

Although there are a number of artists in my family, I did not discover my own desire to be creative until after retirement. I am now striving to discover who I am, what moves me, and what influences my choices.

Since discovering art, I have taken numerous classes and workshops from many wonderful artists. Deanna Thibault, one of our own SAWG artists, has had a great influence on my work by pushing me to improve every aspect of it.

I am an active member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild, the National Watercolor Society, Vice-President of the Santa Rita Art Guild of Green Valley, the Tubac Center of the Arts, and a member of the newly established Elephant Head Art Guild. I have had juried acceptances of my work into many exhibitions including the Arizona Aqueous in 2007, and the Briggs Abstract Competitions with the Santa Rita Art League.
