Francheskaa

Francheskaa has been working as a professional artist since 2002 after retiring from teaching art for the California and Nevada Public School Systems. Currently she’s an art instructor at Pima Community College in Tucson Arizona.

Her work focuses on Abstract Expressionism in acrylic and watercolor on paper and canvases. Her passion is the process of painting, to be free, to be open and "to be one with the painting.”

She is a member of Northwest National Watercolor Society, Southwest Watercolor Guild, Contemporary Artists of Arizona, Southwest League of Fine Arts, Arizona Watercolor Association, and Tubac Center of the Arts.

Francheskaa has been featured in numerous shows which include Tubac Center of the arts-Tubac,AZ, Gallery 801-Tucson, AZ, Long Gallery-Tucson, AZ, Wilbur May Museum-Reno, NV, and John Ben Snow Memorial Trust Art Gallery-Reno, NV, McKinley Cultural Arts Center-Reno NV. She has won awards in regional, state and national competitions in California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Her summers are spent painting and teaching in the ghost town of Belmont, Nevada.
